Meet the Artist: Christina Ratkus
Hello and welcome to my website, I’m so happy you’re here. I have been a creative my whole life and I am excited to share what I create with you.
I have a desire to continue learning and to try everything so you will find all kinds of art mediums in my portfolio. I am a self taught artist and lover of experimenting.
My art studio and my home are both in Ballard, WA. Monkey is my sweet kitty who loves to dip her paws in my brush cleaning water (hence the need for an art studio).
I decided to leave working as a development professional six months ago to start this small business and it has been a spectacular journey. Thank you for supporting me and for valuing art.
I find inspiration in so many places, from spending time in nature to traveling, and reading. Although, I will say that many of my ideas pop into my head at 3 am and require me to wake up and jot them down, very convenient. I started drawing when I was young and in the last few years have picked up many of the mediums you see in my portfolio.
